Läget är fortfarande relativt lugnt i Gammalsvenskby. Så lugnt det är när ett krig pågår. Läget är spänt och livet är svårt för byborna och många mår dåligt. Ockupationsmakten har ett försvarshögkvarter i skolan och Ukrainas motoffensiv är mycket nära byn, så läget är spänt.

Ett par av byborna var i närmaste staden Berislav för att inhandla förnödenheter till byn, men 70% av butikerna var stängda. Det finns dock ett par apotek som är öppna.

Ryssland fortsätter sina terrorbombningar av civila mål i det fria Ukraina.

Ytterligare en barnfamilj, som är svenskbyättlingar har lyckade fly från Krym och är nu i säkerhet i Sverige. C:a 60% av byborna har nu lämnat byn.

David Bäck på skogs & Bemanningsservice AB har under haft självplock och sålt solrosor till förmån för Gammalsvenskby, vilket gett 11 996 SEK till det humanitära arbetet.

The situation is still relatively calm in Gammalsvenskby. How calm it is when a war is going on. The situation is tense and life is difficult for the villagers and many are unwell. The occupying power has a defense headquarters in the school and the Ukrainian counter-offensive is very close to the village, so the situation is tense.

A couple of the villagers were in the nearest town of Berislav to buy supplies for the village, but 70% of the shops were closed. However, there are a couple of pharmacies that are open.

Russia continues its terror bombing of civilian targets in free Ukraine.

Another family with children, who are descendants of Swedish settlers, have managed to escape from Crimea and are now safe in Sweden. About 60% of the villagers have now left the village.

David Bäck at skogs & Bemanningsservice AB has been picking and selling sunflowers for the benefit of Gammalsvenskby, which has given SEK 11,996 to the humanitarian work.
